More Christmas Items

So this weekend is my show in my new hometown, Warsaw, Missouri.  They have an annual Heritage Days celebration down by the park and marina which includes vendors.  I signed up right away.  I am bringing some of my favorite hand crafted items, such as Crescent Santas
Lots of ornaments!

Snowman Soup:

 Stocking Stuffers:

 Funny Gifts:

And Hubby even got into the game, making hand hewn walking sticks.

I am nervous, as if this were my first show, even though I have been doing shows for over 20 years.  I want my new neighbors to love my items (and me!)

My newest ornaments are from the ends of the paintsticks.....remember?  Here is how they turned out!

Wish me luck, my peeps!

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day, my peeps.  Hope you are enjoying your three day weekend with good food, family, friends and weather.  I am praying for my friends in Florida and on the east coast.  We made a quick trip to Colorado this week to pick up inventory out of my storage unit.  We were driving our 18 year old truck and were pulling our 30 year old trailer.  Somewhere in the middle of Kansas, were the population is in single digits and the only thing on the horizon are windmills, we blew a tire.  Mr. Wonderful, as I will call my hubs, grinned that nervous grin that was supposed to assuree/scare me.  "I hope the spare fits"  I sat in the truck with our two aging dogs while he braved the heat and wind and traffic to change the tire.  Soon, he was digging in the tool box in the back of the truck.  And digging some more.  His report to me was: The lug wrench won't fit.  Say what?  It was about that time that the state trooper pulled up.  He mentioned how pleased he was that we were prepared for this emergency.  When he found out the lug wrench would not fit, he let Mr. Wonderful use his.  But then when they tried to place the spare on, it would not fit either.  I think it was at this point that he was regretting his comment about being prepared.  In the end, after three stops, we were able to get a wrench, a tire, and get it all changed before moving on.  Twelve hours morphed into nearly 15.

But we are back, inventory home and ready for my first Missouri show ever.  We are going to check out some storage units tomorrow so that we have some room in the basement.  I still have another load to get.

Working on some paintbrush Santas.  These have always been a great seller for me.  Also some Pumpkin Poop, other printables, more 2 x 4 cats,
and this wreath
Time to get back to work!
