Saturday was the spring craft fair at the Adams County Fairgrounds, sponsored by the Adams County Historical Society. It was pretty typical for a spring show, having some shoppers, few buyers. But I walked away with a profit, met some nice folks, re-visited some that I knew already, and saw some really original work. My booth was small (6 x 8) but looked really cute!
My rag dolls were a hit, as well as the prairie dresses (I'll need to make more!) and the Wash Day clothes line. Every one seemed to like the little mason jar sewing kits, so I will probably make up a few more before my next show on May 12.
Saturday, I am travelling to Cheyenne, Wy for an At Home America show at my daughter, Heidi's house. I can't wait! It will be my first solo show, I have products that I love, and I get to see my granddaughters! How much better can it get????
Still working on the final leg of cleaning up the business and I want to say this has been all consuming. And very tiring. We are now to the point of hauling off trash, and selling off the final fixtures and furniture. I will be very busy posting on Craig's list and Ebay.
Happy blogging all......

Another busy week
Saturday I had my grand opening for my new home style specialist position. Although there was not a large attendance, everyone loved the product. Annie was a great teacher, but I still have so much to learn!

This Saturday, I am doing a craft show for Adams County Historical Society. It is at the Adams County Fairgrounds and there will be about 200 crafters in attendance, selling hand-made items. Come and see me! I will be in space 142.
I also wanted to show you one of my new creations. I think these little sewing kits turned out great....perfect for Mom's Day!
My next At Home America Show is on the 28th in Cheyenne, WY. Call me or email me to book your own and earn free and discounted homewares!
