So finally, I have finished Faith, my new Raggedy Angel!
Faith is a 12 inch raggedy, with felt wings, button eyes, and a tinsel halo. I love that she has her hands folded in prayer!
Her pink hair makes her look even more angelic!
Her ballet slippers are painted on with bias strips for straps.

Also this week, I finished another ornie wreath.
I also finished another mailbox centerpiece. I found the little mailbox at the thrift store. It was shiny red but had some writing on it and it was just TOO shiny. I pounced on some light buttermilk paint and filled it with holiday treasures.

ReplyDeleteThe hair is made from a yarn I found at Hobby Lobby called Madcap Baby yarn. It is more like a fleece than a yarn. I've used the red on some of my other raggedies. I love it,
