More lamps....

Hubs was able to help me with two more lamps from my vintage insulators:

This lamp has an insulator added to the base.
This lamp has two insulators, a small one on the base and a larger for the shade.

 We have several others in process.  I struggle with the wiring, so I have to wait until he can find some time to help me with that.

I also did a pretty spring wreath.  I love the color yellow.  It just seems like such a happy color to me!
Not much else happening on the home front here.  Getting ready for my show in a couple of weeks by doing some printables, candy, and other small items to go along with the larger ones.  I've also been working on some of my fixtures.  They get so nicked up going from show to show, so a few of the pieces I've treated to a white wash.  I also sold 50 bed springs.  I have a ton of these, but they were not all rusted.  That took a little while.  Wanna know how to rust items?  Check out this tutorial.  I also rust jingle bells, safety pins. etc. using the same solution.  Or just order from me

Have a great week, my friends.  The weather is very springlike today......good day for a walk with the puppies.

New items!

Well, I still have not finished my next pattern, because I have been working hard on making things for a spring show next month and getting ready for a vintage show in April.  I got hubs to help me out on an item that I have had in my mind for a long time.  Last summer when my sister-in-law was here, we were discussing antiques that we wish we still had.  I said that I regretted not having any of those glass insulators that I used to see everywhere.  So, lucky for me, she sent me, not one, not two, but four boxes of insulators.
This is our first attempt, but I have so many more ideas scurrying around my little brain.......

Also some wreaths;

A mason jar hanging:

And a bird house.  I found this birdhouse at the thrift store.....dirty, in pretty bad shape.  But solid.  So I tore off all the grapevine, cleaned and sanded it.  And added my own embellishments.....Voila!

And February is birthday month for me and my good friend Dawn showered me with gifts.  I love this arrangement that now proudly rests on my Hoosier cabinet.
Well, I am off to work on my pattern and watch Dr. Phil.  Have a good week, my peeps!
