Good bye January!

It seems incredible to me that January 2018 is nearly history.  But you know what they say.....time flies when you are having fun.....so I must really be having a blast!  I have had a really busy January, working on another pattern, new Etsy listings, and making Spring items for my show in March.

One of the items that always sells, no matter the season, are lighted garland.
I did this one in pastels for spring, but I sell a ton of these for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and  Christmas.  Even had a special order for Valentines Day.  They are great on your mantel, swagged over a window, placed on a buffet or table, and the list goes on.  Wanna know how to make it?  Another easy, peasy lemon squeezy craft.  Just click here for the easy tutorial.  Yeah, its for a Halloween one, but it will work for any season.

In my thrifting last week, I found a couple of great vintage items that will be listed in my Etsy shop later today.  I will be adding some more doll supplies in this Etsy shop.  Don't forget to check out my patterns too!

Well, I am off to work on those listings!  Have a great week ahead!

My new pattern is finally finished!

I have been working on my new raggedy pattern for the past few weeks now.  It is so easy to get side tracked!  lol  Well here she is:  Annie and her Bestie Westie.

If you know me, you know that I have two West Highland Terriers (Westies) so this makes me love this little girl even more.  She is approximately 16" tall and easy, peasy, lemon squeezy to make.  I have the pattern listed on Patternmart.com (just click on Designers and from the dropdown choose 3 Peas in a Pod by Linda Matthews) or you can purchase in my Etsy shop: Etsy.com/shop/3Peas2010.  While you are there, look around.  I have tons of supplies, additional patterns, and some handmades.  If you want to check out my vintage shop: click here.

Well, the March vintage show that I applied to was full, so back to the drawing board.  I am however, doing a boutique show March 22-24 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden.  Hope to see you there!

I am still working on some spring items:  Another simple wreath

Well the news came back on hubs....they found cancer in his bladder.  The good news is that it is low grade, slow growing, T1 stage.  So he will have to undergo additional testing and monitoring, but nothing too drastic at this time.  Prayers, please.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, my peeps!  Hope 2018 is going well for you and yours.  I like to use this time for weeding out, cleaning up, and creating.  My studio has become an "after Christmas sale hoard" so today I vow to get to cleaning.

I'm working on a few things.....some pillows.....got them embroidered, just have to assemble.  Some aprons....holiday ones from panels...gotta finish them up and try to make them special.  And finally....I am finishing up a new doll pattern.  Hopefully, I will have by the end of the week.  I have had some decent Etsy sales this past week, mostly supplies.  I need to get more of my vintage listed.  There is a link on the sidebar to my new shop:  The Raggedy Peddler.  I have applied for a show in March so I had better get that vintage stuff inventoried and finished up.

I also have been working on a few wreaths.  My friend Dawn helped me out with some floral and I did pretty well with it over the holidays.....though I am certainly no Dawn!  Here is one of my latest creations:

Have a good week my friends!
